Acorns are like little gems in the forest.  Found speckling the ground in autumn I have re-imagined them as colorful magic gems from a fantasy realm.

Each acorn cap is wild harvested from my land in the Green Ridge State Forest of Western Maryland.  We have black oak, northern red oak, pin oak, white oak and several other species of oak trees that produce a variety of beautiful acorns. 

Once dried I coat each acorn cap by hand to create a hard candy coating.  Then each cap is matched to it's perfect stone partner and accents are added to create a totally unique key ring charm.

These are perfect for your keys, as a zipper pull for your purse/backpack or to hang anywhere you need a touch of charm.  Given as a gift this is something that can travel with young adults to school, university or around the world.
